BUSINESS MANAGER TRAINING COURSES GAIN IMI APPROVAL

Volkswagen Financial Services’ Business Manager training programmes have achieved the coveted Quality Assured Award (QAA) of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).

The courses, known as ‘The Professional’ and ‘The Manager’, are aimed at employees working in a financial services retail environment and are delivered by

the AON Resource Group on behalf of Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Limited (VWFS). In addition to this recognition, AON has also now become an Approved Training Centre for the IMI.

' The Professional’ programme is aimed at dealership employees who are either new to the role of Business Manager (BM), or have been performing the role of a BM for less than six months and have yet to receive any formal training.

The five day ‘Professional’ course takes delegates through a series of modules aimed at making them proficient in all areas of selling finance and insurance.

‘The Manager’ has been developed for experienced Business Managers who have recently moved to a new dealership. It is also relevant for those BMs who have not received any formal finance and insurance training for more than two years, or are in need of alternative operational tools and techniques in order to improve on their current finance and insurance performance.

This two and a half day course focuses on a BM’s role in the sales team and the development of management skills.

Candidates who successfully complete either of these programmes receive certification from the Institute of the Motor Industry and an invitation for membership to the IMI. back...
